The FN SCAR 15P is a compact 5.56 NATO pistol modeled after the SCAR personal defense weapon platform. Its short-stroke gas piston operating system and adjustable low-flash gas regulator support reliable cycling, while the 7.5-inch cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel provides a durable and compact configuration. The one-piece machined aluminum receiver features MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock positions for mounting optics and accessories. A non-reciprocating charging handle can serve as a hand stop when locked forward, and the rear vertical rail includes a quick-detach sling cup. The pistol includes an SB Tactical brace, ambidextrous safety lever, three-prong flash hider, and one 30-round magazine.
